Re-Opening FAQ
Buzz Gym Slough is open as usual 24 hours a day. Buzz have introduced COVID Secure Buzz Safe procedures so you can be confident of training in a safe, hygienic and comfortable environment.
Q: Is Buzz Slough open yet?
A: Yes Buzz Gym Slough is open as usual 24 hours a day.
Q: Will all equipment be available to use?
A: Most of our equipment is in use but the occasional item may be placed out of use to adhere to distancing guidelines.
Q: Is it safe for the Buzz Slough to be open?
A: Absolutely information received since gyms re-opened in July suggests COVID 19 does not spread in gyms. We have introduced Buzz Safe procedures and are certified COVID Secure. You can be assured of a safe environment in which to train.
Q: What extra measures will be put in place to keep members safe?
A: We have introduced Buzz Safe protocols. These are our new hygiene and COVID secure procedures giving you the confidence that we are providing a safe environment in which you can train.
The Buzz Safe protocols at Buzz Slough include:
- Additional hand sanitising stations throughout the club
- Gymitize gym sanitisation wipes to wipe equipment before use
- Train here markings to indicate training zones
- Spaced out training zones in studios
- Improved layout and distancing of equipment
- Regular cleaning of all touch points
- Regular fogging of equipment for your safety
Q: What will members have to do to remain safe?
A: The Buzz Safe member rules include:
- If you feel unwell please do not come to Buzz Slough
- Asking members to regularly sanitiser their hands using our in club sanitising stations
- Follow all social distancing signage in club
- No moving kit
- No sharing equipment or training in groups
- Clean kit before and after use using our anti bac sprays or Gymitize product supplied.
- Please do not use sweat towels. Use disposable paper towels provided.
- Face coverings and gloves are optional
Q: Are you restricting numbers in the gym?
A: Yes. We will limit the number of members in the gym at the same time, this is so members can keep a safe distance from each other. You can check the app or members area to see how busy your club is. It’s best to plan your visit at a quieter time to avoid having to queue.
Q: Will I need to book a slot to use the gym?
A: No we do not be operating a booking system as our clubs are so large we don’t anticipate needing to do this.
Q: Will the changing rooms and lockers be available?
A: Yes, you can use the changing rooms. We are restricting the number of members in the changing rooms at the same time and have also taken a number of lockers out of use, We encourage you to arrive changed for your gym session where possible, to avoid using the changing facilities.
Q: Are classes still running?
A: Yes we are running a normal class timetable although some classes may have reduced capacity.
Q: I’m not ready to come back to Buzz Slough yet, can I freeze my membership?
A: Yes you can currently freeze for up to 3 months.
