From a very young age, I always had a real interest in sports, in particular team sports. I would always challenge myself to reach my full potential with the objective of having to win every fixture whatever sport it was. Fortunately, as I grew, I took a passion towards rugby, and I was given the opportunity to represent academy level rugby. Throughout my sporting career, I have been privileged to be able to work with both athletes and the general public.
Having studied sports science at Bucks University, qualifying as Personal Trainer, gaining Level 3 Award in Coaching Strength Training and working within the fitness industry for ten years, has given me the experience, skills and knowledge of how the body reacts to exercise and nutrition.
Furthermore, more recently I have qualified as a mental health therapist which has given me the tools to understand in depth how to deal with a lack of motivation and ways to help us to achieve our goals.
I believe that building a body image, strength level, fitness level and strong mental wellbeing comes down to having realistic goals and understanding the balance in both exercise and nutrition.
