UPDATED MAY 21ST 2020

We are busy getting the clubs ready to reopen current Government guidelines would suggest around July 4th but this is subject to confirmation.

In due course we will release any special measures that our members and staff will be taking to comply with any social distancing measures to ensure the safety of our members and team.

It is likely we will have some limit on our memberships so if you are not already a member or have cancelled due to Covid 19 we strongly suggest you rejoin now to save the £25 joining fee and to ensure we have a space for you when we reopen.

In the meantime we have our awesome Virtual membership running with lots of @home workouts via our App, Live classes and workout ideas.

MARCH 17th 2020

Update Below

Following on from our previous announcements below we wanted to inform you of extra measures we are now taking to keep our members safe during this time.

IN CLUB

With immediate effect we will be:

  • Reducing the class capacity sizes in all classes.
  • Removing all boxing classes from the timetable.
  • Classes which use shared stations will be redesigned to be single stations and keeping a good distance between each participant.
  • Please be aware that the durations of some classes will be reduced slightly to allow for extra cleaning between classes.
  • Some Kit is now out of use to allow for adequate space between members and adhere to social distancing, please note there is still plenty of kit available.

OUT OF CLUB / WORKING OUT FROM HOME

  • Our Buzz Gym App will be loaded up with home workouts designed by our amazing team of trainers.
  • We have teamed up with Les Mills to bring you a host of On Demand classes you can view via our app or My Buzz section of your members area.
  • We are also working hard on bringing virtual seminars on mental health, exercising from home and nutritional advice to the app so our members can stay as healthy as possible during this time.

We’re following the COVID-19 outbreak closely and will continue to give you regular updates as we learn more from the World Health Organisation and the UK Government.

If you are suffering from any of the symptoms, no matter how mild, please consider staying at home to recover. If you have any concerns, we recommend using the NHS 111 service.

Updated March 13th 2020.

As a valued member of Buzz Gym we would like to re-assure you of the procedures we have in place to ensure your club stays a hygenic, healthy, fun environment during the outbreak of COVID-19.

Buzz Gym Actions

As a business we have decided to take extra precautions by installing more hand sanitisers at the entrance and exit of the gyms (stock levels permitting) as well as increasing  anti bacterial sprays and cloths for members to wipe down machines and of course for our team to carry out their cleaning duties. We have increased these duties to provide extra precaution over the next few weeks.

Our regular monthly audits have been increased to weekly to ensure we will continue to have a clean, hygienic environment and all our clubs also feature a very high tech air exchange system which brings in fresh air and extract air from within the gym to ensure air quality Is maintained,

What Can You Do ?

  • Ensure you wash your hands for 20 seconds before entering the club.
  • Use our In Club Anti Bacterial Sprays to wipe down equipment and hand grip before and after use.
  • Dispose of any dirty clothes, towels or tissues into our bins in a prompt manner.
  • Use Sweat Towels – these can be purchased on site if you dont have.
  • Do Not Visit the club if you feel unwell or have developed a new persistant cough or high temperature.

We are all aware how exercise and using your club can benefit your immune system, respiratory system and mental health so lets keep it a safe, hygenic, fun environment and ensure we work together to achieve this.
